This Panera location offers a cool and serene atmosphere for patrons to enjoy coffee, tea or slightly overpriced food. Fast and free wifi seals the deal. Pastries are delicious and obviously high quality.

The waits are getting outrageous. I went twice in one week and each time the wait for my order was half hour! Who can wait that long for a lunch?

Friday, 7 PM in the evening, not sure how we ended up deciding to go to Panera, but we did. The first thing we ordered - flatbread sandwiches, they didn't have. The 2nd thing we ordered - chicken fontana panini, they didn't have. I ordered the turkey Apple cheddar sandwich and got a turkey avocado sandwich instead. My husband then stood for a good 20 mins to get them to give me the sandwich I ordered, it shouldn't be that difficult to read an order. For such a prime location, they seem to be trying real hard to chase away their customers. They did give my husband an extra soup for his trouble, therefore the 2 stars instead of 1.

I'm in a new city.. there's no where better to find free WiFi. Kind of quite for a Panera Bread, but no complaints by me.. I got a lot of work done!!!

2nd time having panera bread this week...for some reason the employees at this location makes the food slightly differently. I say this because I got the same salad in 2 visits to 2 different stores but this store had blue cheese in my salad....the menu list doesn't even have blue cheese Would've been more stores if the employees worked faster..

They are literally out of everything! I have been here a few times in the past couple of weeks and the experience is the same every single time. I ask for at least 2 or 3 items which the cashier says they are out of before we finally get to something they actually DO have. I asked the cashier yesterday if they were closing and that being the reason they are out of so many menu items? She laughed and said they were not. The staff is mostly incompetent and there are a million of them standing around getting in each others way. The line always takes forever.. partly because guests have to decide on different selections after their first and second choices are pretty much never available. I'm sure the manager on duty must see this complete deterioration of the restaurant no? How have all of these reviews basically stated the same exact issues and no one at Panera White Plains thinks to look into it? It's obvious just walking into the restaurant let alone working there and managing it! Wake up people! Needless to say... don't bother coming here... certainly don't bother if you're really craving something on their menu since they won't have it... and if you're in a rush prepare to be aggravated by the wait times for take out.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Was in there a few months ago and saw a huge mouse run across the dining area. Looks like it had been there for a while. They are filthy as well. Steer clear at all costs. I know I do. You never know what is really in your food.

I thought the bad reviews were harsh but they aren't. Do not come here if you're in a rush, these lazy morons will not be able to handle it. Hopefully the food is ok, have been waiting for 15 minutes already and waited 10 for coffee. Seriously stay away. My first clue should have been when I heard Loriann, the alleged manager, say "I shouldn't have gone out last night but I did." Don't make that my problem please. Corporate needs to whip this store into shape.

#31 These is my second time here, this is a great spot to come and have a coffee or eat soups, salads, sandwiches and snacks and read a book or use you laptop. I order the pick-2 combo I choose the Bacon Turkey Bravo and chicken noodle soup. The sandwich had a good taste, is one of their signature sandwiches and features smoked turkey breast, bacon, smoked Gouda, lettuce, tomatoes, and their signature dressing, on Tomato Basil bread. But the chicken noodle soup I had to return to the kitchen because it was cold. The staff took care of this one very quickly, by heating and apologizing for the mistake. after the soup taste very good, the portion was not bad.

Great place to meet w/ a large group of friends. They support local meet-ups which is always nice. Employees are nice - with a special kudos to Patty!! The food is like any other Panera. Soup & salad/sammie is good. Large salads are my fav. I'd like to see more variety of sandwiches. Bagels are usually gone off the shelves by noontime. Wish the coffee was stronger! Lines during lunch move quickly. :)

Great bakery because they have muffins and pastries you wouldn't normally see freshly baked elsewhere. I recently started drinking cappuccinos here because they make them the right way and I also like iced coffee here. They have Strong coffee which is great and of course you have all the sides (half n half, milk, honey, sugars etc) for tea and coffees. The food is ok here, nothing spectacular but I do like the spinach and artichoke egg soufflé very much. Let's say obsessed. Soups are ok as well, I usually will get the broccoli and cheese and my only complaint would be I like the broth to be thicker, more of a bisque with chunks. What they lack in food they make up for in good hiring of friendly accommodating staff members and a clean environment. The have a great seating area. The seating area is nicely decorated and a wall separates where the food is and the seating area location. Bathrooms are clean and tidy. I've never waited longer than 5 minutes for to go orders/stay in. Your assigned a number in your receipt, so Post your number in the metal bracket and they bring your food to you. Love that! No waiting around. This particular location is in the N. Broadway plaza. Situated across from Anthonys coal brick oven pizza and the new hotel Cambria suites. Great location!

Even though it was practically empty when I went in my food took forever. The workers were all messing around and chatting. When I got home and opened my to-go order, the soup container was only half full and salad had no dressing. Wish I hadn't bothered with parking.

Food was ok. I went for the Thai Salad w/ the garden soup and my hubby went for the Mac & Cheese- which he loves. But as we were looking for a table , we noticed that the tables are not wiped down- I almost believe that they're not wiped down after every meal!!! Yuk!!!!!!!! My hubby went to tell the cashier if someone can wipe the table and no one came to clean the table! We took napkins and did the job ourselves. As we waited for our lunch, the carpet is filthy with paper garbage and there's even a ( homeless) man who appears to set up shop towards the front of Panera and that corner stinks!! Really? In a fucking restaurant? I couldn't sit within close proximity of this person and why the fuck would Panera allow this?

This is a nice Panera in White Plains. Even though you have to pay for parking here, I prefer this Panera over the one in Scarsdale for two important reasons. 1. It is not freezing! I value good temperature control. 2. It is not crowded! I can always find a seat, and most seats are close to an outlet should I need one. This is more like 4.5 stars, but not close enough to get a 5. Sorry.

The Panera I used to go to last summer and the Panera today has completely CHANGED! Panera last summer had amazing, caring, and well trained staff. PANERA TODAY HAS UNCARING AND VERY BAD TRAINED STAFF. The mac and cheese looked like SOUP last time I went. The Broccoli Cheddar soup was soooooo salty! They also took more than 10 minutes to bring the food! I'm going to keep buying prepared foods at Whole Foods, better quality for the money you spend! Panera, I have 5 words to say! I'm NOT coming back... EVER! Until you teach your staff to be passionate about their job and learn to prepare food correctly :0

I normally don't write reviews for restaurants, but my experience at this establishment was so very bad today, that I feel that I would do others a favor by writing this review. I went to Panera Bread for lunch today with my husband. I had not been there in a long time, but I'm trying to do better at eating healthy, so I chose to go there. I wanted to get 2 items from their Your Pick 2 menu. I wanted a classic salad and 1/2 a Napa Almond Chicken Salad Sandwich. I told this to the cashier and she seemed confused about my sandwich selection. A cashier next to her said "Chicken Caesar Salad Sandwich". I repeated to my cashier that I wanted a chicken salad sandwich. I noticed on the receipt that it did say "Chicken Caesar Salad Sandwich". I had a feeling that I wasn't going to get what I wanted and had asked for. My fears were realized when I got my food. First of all, the salad came with the dressing on the side (it looked like it was a balsamic vinagrette dressing, which I would not have chosen, but I was never asked to choose a salad dressing and forgot to do so). The cup they brought the dressing in was only filled halfway and the salad was large, so there wasn't enough dressing for the whole salad. The sandwich that was brought to me was indeed a Chicken Caesar Salad Sandwich, as I had feared. I got the attention of one of the ladies that brings you the food and explained the situation to her. She asked if I had my receipt. I told her that I did but that the receipt did now show what I had asked for and what I told the cashier. She went up to the cashier to try to resolve the issue. After that, the cashier that took my order approached our table with my receipt. She had an attitude and told me that I had ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad Sandwich. I told her that I had asked for the chicken salad sandwich and that the cashier next to her had told her "Chicken Caesar Salad Sandwich", not me. She said that she'd have to speak to her manager and left with my receipt. A few minutes later, she came back with a napkin and asked me to put my sandwich in the napkin for her, which I did and she left again. I ended up eating only 1/2 of my salad due to the insufficient dressing. About 25-30 minutes later, my husband was done with his lunch. At this point, I had not received a new sandwich and neither the cashier nor the manager had approached our table, so we left the restaurant. I was still hungry but so upset that I just vowed never to go eat at this location again. I eat out frequently, and I also watch a lot of reality shows regarding restaurants on TV so I know what good service is and I usually get it. This was one of the worst service I've ever had at an eating establishment (and I'm 53 years old, so I've eating at many restaurants in my life). I believe that this issue is a result of poor training and lack of care for the customer. The idea that the "customer is always right" doesn't resonate with the employees of this restaurant, evidenced by the attitude that the cashier gave me. They will never see my face again!

Rude service. Guy slams my smoothie on a counter. I wait to see if I'm going to get a straw. I don't so I ask about getting a straw. He waves the straw in the air as he gives me a condescending look. I saw thank you and he says nothing back. Terrible service.

This place is so hit-and-miss. I've had sweet, prompt service, and I have also waited fifteen minutes for soup. I've also had cashiers completely blow me off too. Like today, when I walked up to the counter, only to have the cashier completely ignore me for a very long and awkward moment as she slowly stashed receipts in an envelope. Then, I spent two seconds to put my MyPanera card away, only to look up and have her give me a look that basically said "please get on with it." And the servers? Not even eye contact. Normally, I love Panera, but dang, guys, word of advice from someone who's been in the same industry and position as you: it's not that difficult to fake enjoying your job. If this wasn't one of the few places in White Plains to get lunch AND free wifi (albeit spotty wifi, it seems), I'd probably avoid this spot. As it stands, I'm tempted to just stick with the local Whole Foods. But the food is decent, so there's that.

INCONSISTENT I am happy to report that someone has trained the person who prepares the Lobster Salad to remove the shells and the inedible meat. Finally! It is now the stand out I expect (see photo). The high calorie, gooey paninis like Smokehouse Turkey, Chipote Chicken and Turkey Artichoke can be excellent. The summer only lobster salad sandwich is overpriced and very large, but it's super tasty. Share it with a friend. (don't get half - it costs $14). I like the Bacon Turkey Bravo (see photo). The cookies and pastries are A+. I am not crazy about some of the cafe and signature sandwiches. The tuna salad is oily, the chicken used in the chicken caesar is over seasoned to the point where you'll sneeze from the pepper. Napa almond chicken salad is just ecch. The soups and salads are way below par. I once had chicken noodle soup where the noodles were MELTED into mush because they'd been heated for too long. Be careful when you order -- they put onions on everything. I once had the manager take my order and although I specifically said NO onions, they were on the sandwich. Back to the the inconsistency. I've had iced tea that was superb. Two weeks later, it was disgusting, like they didn't clean machine. I once had an employee hand me a free espresso in a dirty cup, no lid. The regular coffee is sometimes good, sometimes blah. I've heard staff ask other staff to wait on customers, like they need to be told. There are issues with the wait staff - food sits on the counter and the cooks yell for someone to serve the food. You might get cold soup if you're eating in. Note: the restaurant's layout is very private and there's free wi-fi.

I'd never had really great service here. Either I'm ignored while trying to order, or there's simply no staff around. I almost helped myself to coffee and walked out, I was do frustrated.

I love Panera, but this store was not the usual service I'm used to. Ordered a Frozen Mocha and as our cashier was reading back the order, she said Frozen Caramel. I corrected her and thought she would remember. Now I'm not sure of everything that goes in the Frozen Mocha, but I watched her make the drink and she added a LOT of caramel to it. This was the first time I had this drink and it was too sweet to my liking. Also ordered a mango smoothie which was poorly blended (ice chunks everywhere) and a double fudge brownie which was dry. I will not be coming back to this store again.

Soups, salads, sandwiches and snacks. Panera always delivers with a reasonably priced tasty meal or treat. The Pick-2 combo is always a good choice. Half a sandwich with a soup or side like mac & cheese. Add on a hot drink and you can then get a bakery item for $0.99. You'll walk away stuffed and satisfied. You can't really go wrong with Panera.

Came here the first night I arrived here in NY and stayed with my friend. I was like, sigh... panera again.. I always had to go to Panera back in San Francisco after classes. Oh well, it's my first time at Panera for like a couple years. I was surprised to see the calorie count next to the food item, then I realized it's just a New York thing. We really need to get something like that in California.. I mean.. we've got some fat people here and there, but we've got loads of unhealthy people too. *cough* jelly rolls *cough Anyway, tried my first French Onion soup... omfg so delicious, melts in your mouth :(

Every time I eat here, about once a week I get the Pick Any 2 meal 7.58 w/tax and small cup for water. This is the best price value meal, you get to pick 2 of 3 things, sandwich, salad, soup. I've had all their soups, french onion, cream of chicken w/wild rice, black bean, tomato along with their salad, classic, greek , cesear. I'll try their sandwiches next. Once in a while they offer you to join poanera club and get freebies the more you eat at their club. But you need to ask specifically for the freebie when you are entitled to them.

I hadn't been here for a while, then last week I stopped in for a mid-morning snack (carrot cake, tasty). I saw that they are now serving pasta, so today I went there for lunch with a friend. I tried the pesto, which was good, especially on a chilly day. It comes with a choice of soup or salad, so I had what they call a cup of broccoli cheddar soup (it comes in a bowl), along with an apple and a mango smoothie, and they gave me a brownie for half-price! The brownie was a little dry, otherwise no complaints with the food, it all tasted good. And they bring your order to your table, which is nice. I've always been happy with the food and service here.

This is a brand new location, it just opened about a month ago. Been here twice for lunch, both times ordered their 1/2 salad and 1/2 sandwich combo. First time went with the trusty chipotle chicken and asian seasame chicken salad. Today tried the turkey bacon bravo and fuji apple chicken salad. All very good, creative mix of ingredients, tasty sauces and dressing and above all fresh. And for a nice drink to complement, pick up a Snapple Nectarine White Tea Refresh at the Walmart next door :).
